Common Health is a platform, and does not sell or provide health products or services. Instead, we work with local partners, who sell products and services through our platform. Our first local partner is Shwe Myittar Pharmacy.
Quality of products and safety of our customers are Common Health's top priorities. Accordingly, we can only accept returns and exchanges provided that all of the following conditions are met:
- The customer calls Common Health Customer Service at 099 7744 9737 within 24 hours of order delivery,
- The customer has the original invoice as provided with the delivered order,
- The product has not been opened or tampered with, and
- The packaging is included, and in good condition (e.g., the box is included, if delivered).
In order to ensure quality and safety, Common Health cannot accept returns of insulin or other refrigerated products under any circumstances.
Returns or exchanges from outside the Free Delivery Areas will be subject to delivery charges.
Free Delivery Areas
We know that delivery costs are annoying. That's why we have created three ways to get your order without delivery charges:
- Free Delivery Areas: Our friendly Common Health field team directly delivers orders in certain cities. That includes 27 townships of Yangon City ("Zone 1A") and 35 wards of Bago City ("Zone B"). We are working every day to expand these free delivery areas, so stay tuned!
- Inter-City Bus and Yangon Post Office: Our team delivers for free to certain bus terminals and post offices in central Yangon ("Zone 1C"). This includes Aung San Bus Station, Downtown Phyarbon Bus Gate, and U Chit Maung Bus Gate. For bus service orders, customers are responsible for paying the bus fare and picking up the package at the destination. For postal service orders, customers are responsible for paying postal service fees when packages are received.
Common Health provides free-of-charge delivery to customers in the Free Delivery Areas specified below. We are working every day to expand these zones, so please check this website, Facebook, and Viber for updates.
- Yangon: All 27 townships of the city of Yangon, with the exception of Shwe Pyi Thar, Hlaing Thar Yar, Mingalardon, Dala and Seikkyi Kanaungto Township. Certain areas of Insein Township, Mingaladon Township, Hlaing Thar Yar, Shwe Pyi Thar may have slightly longer delivery times and extra delivery charges.
- Bago: All 35 wards of the city of Bago. Ingadaw, Payagyi, and other areas of Bago region are not included in the Free Delivery Area.
We are constantly working to expand our Free Delivery Areas. The concentration of potential customers is a key factor in deciding where to go next. So, if you believe that your community would be a good fit for Common Health, please call or message us to let us know.
Aside from the Free Delivery Areas, we serve customers nationwide across three paid delivery zones:
- Zone 2 (K 3,000 per order): Ayeyarwady Region, Naypyitaw Union Territory, Rest of Yangon Region,
- Zone 3 (K 4,000 per order): Magwe Region, Mandalay Region, Mon State, Sagaing Region, and Taninthayi Region,
- Zone 4 (K 5,000 per order): Chin State, Kachin State, Kayah State, Kayin State, Rakhine State, and Shan State.
We are not trying to make a profit on delivery. We charge these fees to recover our costs so that we can ensure low prices for medicines and other products and services on the Common Health platform.

On the morning of the delivery, each customer will receive an SMS message from "CHMyanmar" with the field team member's name and phone number.

We will drop off your package at selected inter-city bus terminals or at a post office in Yangon. Your Health Advisor will coordinate the details with you when you place your order.

If you are not available at the delivery time, please either designate someone who can accept your order on your behalf, or propose a time when you will be available.
Due to the perishable nature of products sold through our platform, all orders must be accepted by the customer or her/his designee. We cannot leave orders on doorsteps.

Product Availability
Common Health is focused on serving families with chronic health conditions, also called non-communicable diseases. Our initial focus is on three conditions: diabetes, hypertension (high blood pressure), and heart health (cardiovascular diseases).
We aim to work with partners to offer all products and services required for managing chronic diseases. Because we guarantee the quality of all products and services sold by partners using our platform, we are very selective about the partners with whom we work.
For this reason, we are starting with essential medications for our three focus health conditions. This includes:
- Diabetes medications such as insulin and metformin,
- Hypertension medications such as ACE inhibitors, beta blockers, and diuretics, and
- Heart medications such as anticoagulants and statins.
We aim to offer the broadest range of chronic disease products and services in Southeast Asia. (In fact, we already have the biggest range of diabetes medications in Myanmar!)
If you are taking a medicine for diabetes, hypertension, or hyperlipidemia, we will find it for you. There are just three requirements:
- The product must be registered with the Myanmar Food and Drug Administration (e.g., has a Drug Registration Number) or is otherwise approved for sale,
- The product is in stock at an authorized distributor (has not been recalled or discontinued), and
- The product includes one of the active ingredients outlined below.
So, if we don't currently have a medicine you're taking, there's a good chance we can get it. Just give us a call, chat with us, or ask one of our team members.

A product may be out of stock for a couple different reasons:
- Seller stockout: Our partners have run out, and have reordered from the distributor. We try our best to help partners forecast demand, but sometimes this does happen.
- Distributor stockout: The product is not available from a distributor. This is usually due to delays in importing the product into the country.
Seller stockouts are usually resolved within a few days, while distributor stockouts may take longer. In either case, if a product you requested is out of stock, we will make a note to contact you as soon as it is available.
Yes. We have invested in "cold chain" capabilities that allow our partners to source, store, and distribute insulin and other products that require refrigeration.
We are committed to expanding these capabilities to serve customers across Myanmar, but for now insulin is only available to residents of the Free Delivery Areas.
Quality and Safety
As part of our quality program, we require that all partners follow local rules and international best practices for their work. This means that Common Health partner pharmacies will not dispense prescription-only medicines without a valid prescription.
Photos of prescriptions can be submitted via Facebook and Viber. More details on prescription requirements will be provided to customers by Health Advisors when they order.
Common Health works with licensed medical doctors to provide free telemedicine care to our customers. In the event that you do not have your prescription handy, a Health Advisor will set up telemedicine consultation with a doctor for the same day.
Please note that telemedicine doctors provide care independently of Common Health. The doctor will determine whether you are eligible for a prescription, without interference by Common Health or our partners. The doctor may require diagnostic tests or a physical consultation before issuing a prescription.
Quality and safety are Common Health's number one priority. We work with partners to implement world-class standards for quality in the places where we work.
When it comes to medicines, our quality work includes the following:
- Carefully selecting partners to ensure they possess the capabilities and experience to deliver exceptional care,
- Providing support to partners, including physical premises, equipment, information technology systems, and technical assistance,
- Regularly auditing partners to ensure that they are sourcing products responsibly and maintaining quality standards, and
- Ensuring high standards for our own operations, including handling incoming orders and delivering packages to customers.
We're the first platform in Myanmar to guarantee quality for health-related products. The Common Health Quality Guarantee gives you the peace of mind to know that the product you purchased was:
- Authentic,
- Sourced from an authorized distributor (no "gray route" items),
- In excellent condition (not damaged),
- Fresh (not expired), and
- Correct, as you ordered it (not replaced with a different product).
Common Health's quality team conducts an independent check of each order. So when you see the Common Health stamp on your order, it means that we have verified each of the requirements above.
In the event that an item in your order does not meet these standards, the Common Health Quality Guarantee means that you are entitled to a full refund, including any shipping costs. Please make sure that you contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order if you would like to claim on the Common Health Quality Guarnantee.
Telemedicine Support
Common Health is here to help people with chronic diseases save money and achieve better health. An important way that we do this is by making essential products and services more affordable (low prices), accessible (home delivery), and convenient (easy ordering).
Our commitment to our customers continues after an order has been delivered. We believe -- and scientific evidence has shown -- that access to primary care enables better outcomes for people with chronic diseases. That's why we work with exceptional general medicine doctors to provide this care for free via telemedicine.
Telemedicine-based primary care can have a big impact for families with chronic diseases, including:
- Addressing questions about medications, such as dosage, side effectives, and how to properly take the medicine,
- Ordering and reviewing laboratory diagnostics to monitor progress and calibrate therapies,
- Making referrals for specialist care, and coordinating with other doctors on the patient's care team,
- Advising on actions patients can take to improve their condition, such as diet, exercise, and smoking cessation, and
- Providing emotional support to help families navigate the complexities of chronic diseases.
Telemedicine care for Common Health is provided by licensed, independent general medicine doctors. In order to be a telemedicine service provider on Common Health's platform, each doctor has been screened for both clinical expertise and communication skills.
Common Health only works with doctors who have graduated from medical colleges accredited by the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates and who are eligible to sit for the United States Medical Licensing Examination.
Each doctor is solely responsible for the care that she or he provides to a patient. Common Health is not a healthcare provider, and does not offer medical advice or services.
Common Health has worked with doctors to provide a telemedicine service that provides both regular access and urgent care:
- Family Medicine Doctor: After a customer places her or his first order, the customer has the option of being matched with a dedicated Family Medicine Doctor. The customer will be provided with the doctor's phone number, as well as the "office hours" when the doctor will be available for consultations. Customers are not required to book consultations in advance.
- On Call Service: All Common Health customers also have access to a general medicine doctor for urgent issues, from 8 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. To access this service, customers can call 099 7744 9737. Customers will be asked to provide their Common Health account number.
